Hamsopanishad is a minor Upanishad assigned to Sukla Yajur Veda. It is a mix of prose and poetry in 21 mantras.

The Upanishad is in the form of a discourse. The yogic method of developing spiritual energy from Muladhara chakra to the final stage Sahasrara chakra is taught to Gautama by Sanatkumara. Japa when practiced will pervade to each and every breath of the sadaka and which will lead him to mystical experiences. The mind then dissolves itself with the glory of Brahman.
